This week I went along with my teacher and friend Gil, to take pics at this matza factory where women are employed to do most of the work - this is apparently very unusual, as it's usually the men who have the important job of matza baking.

Went to Jerusalem yesterday with my good friend Mirjam - me: running around taking pics of all sorts of interesting things, she: having a good laugh at me taking pics of "all sorts of interesting (??!!??) things :)))))

General strike.... garbage!

Last week there was a general strike in Israel - no banks, no postoffices, no trains, no..... people to collect the garbage. Luckily, in Modiin they DID collect the garbage, in Tel Aviv they didn't.......

Ok, I did it! I upgraded from my old (ancient), little, plain (can do nothing but make phonecalls) Nokia phone to a nice shiny brand new can-do-so-much smart phone! :)

I feel very uncomfortable taking pics with it, as I still believe that that is what my camera is for - but here goes, my first mobile phone pic!
